My Gold Voyage Award

Friday 15th July 2022 - 1 hour 30 minutes A chance conversation with Ellie led me to discover that her Guides were going kayaking and there was a leader spot available.  I jumped at the chance!  I didn't get as wet as last time and my thighs were only slightly achey - less time and less tense perhaps!!

Tuesday 5th July 2022 - 2 hours 15 minutes I was really anxious about getting out of kayak so I arrived at Leam Boat Centre super early and was re-assured by the instructors that I'd be ok and ended up having a fabulous time on the water with both the Brownies and the Guides.  I thighs really ached for a couple of days afterwards though!
